Don't waste your money

OK. $5000 later I still have a lump on my wrist - it's just a different shape now. Fortunately, my insurance covers most of it. But, should you ever have a ganglian cyst, if you can stand the lump, just live with it. If you simply must spend money, buy a new bike or some wheels or something. Sigh.

Did they go in and remove it or just drain it? I have one and I'm going to the Dr. on Thursday.

Next time stick a needle in there and rub in plenty of antibiotic creme.

Stay away from your laptop. Might be causing the problem from repetitive wrist actions.

I will let my wife know; thanks for the heads up. She has been considering getting her's taken care of (again) but not for that kind of money.
She told me last night to just smash it with my Carl Haaisen novel! :^)

You know, the doctor said mine was removed and should be fixed and not likely to come back. But the lump is mostly just a different shape and now has a scar across the top.

@cornbread, yeah. I've been massaging it like the dr said, so maybe it will go down over time. Who knows?

@all, I ought to amend my gripe a bit. Before surgery, I was getting pain across the top of my hand, and that is no longer happening, so I suppose that's an improvement.
