It would be in our perspective of the sport. Consider the mainstream of Americans are into football, baseball, and basketball. These 3 sports cover a year of the a sporting audiences attention. Then throw in millions of dollars to keep those viewers attentive and this will not work in America. Funny the big athletic areanas out east, gardens, were built for cycling.
There was a time when this could have been filmed in America. Six day races, Major Taylor and velodromes were the premiere professional attraction of the late 1800's and early 1900's.Pro football was a grunt sport back then.How far we have come, huh? :^)
They had a Madison race on that cyclingtv.com site. Its INSANE! Yeah this is much more exciting than football! (to me at least!)
