One way to meet men

Have a brake failure and land in their arms. Criminey. As if having some strange sound coming from my crank wasn't embarrassing enough this morning.

"Humbled" is not a bad thing. It happens to everyone at one time or another.

So, now we are monkeys? After saving your butt during a brake failure?
Thanks a lot. :^)
I have to say, the logistics of this scenario are baffling me. I need to see the video.

I bet the guy who caught her was Tom Osborne. He saves everything, including baby kitties. Steve Pederson would have let her fall, then stomped on her spokes. And then donated the bike to Al Qaida.

Sydney, Sydney, Sydney....how many times did we have this conversation...take care of all those things over which you have control...*LOL*

We guys may be chimps, but we ain't all chumps... ;-)

Get your act together and you brake working and go kick butt...

And check your Mom's brake before she goes too...*G* She's kinda into trees...remember Kansas, flat, level Kansas...land of few trees... *G*

Good Lord. I am glad you are ok! That sounds really really scary.

Hank says exactly what your dad said. Guess its sage advice. But that sounds like a freaky accident thing. Not something you could have anticipated.

Brakes Schmakes ... You are not supposed to use brakes in cross! No brakes. just
GO GO GO. Be like water.

splat.

You are still the best 'bar- tape- application expert' I know.

yeah, see June, that's what I'm talking about. Didn't think much off it cuz who needs to slow down? Just kidding. After work I got lucky and Tony at Cycle Works replaced the cable, housing and tuned in the shifting. Everything was full of mud, the bike now shifts real fast and I made the most of it this weekend. THANK YOU TONY!!!
