That was about the time i got my first road racing bike. I remember it well. It was sept. A Bianchi 980. With ofmega parts. Still got those parts. What a ride compared to the schwinn super le tour I got for high school graduation. I was enamored. Went back the next day and plopped down $500 from my Wells Fargo security guard paycheck. The rest is history. I guess I should be thanking Petrov.

Oh, by the way, I liked living at ground zero. 5 miles from offutt. I wouldn't want to see or not see the next day after we annihilate. Pull up a chair, a beer and a pair of sunglasses

Hear, Hear!! I grew up in Europe during the Coldwar and I was in constant fear if those nuclear weapons being pointed at us there...
