work and play
That's just plain crazy. hehe You definitely have the cycling bug I keep hearing about. Are you doing the Leadville 100 too?
Your traveling to the Great White North for the Lumberjack? I will have to come up to Manistee and watch you and Danielle battle it out. Remember: she is a wicked sprint finisher! :^)
LoupGarou: Don't think so on the Leadville 100. Date conflicts with Tour of KC.OldMan: I read about that sprint finish and she's been workin' hard. I counted myself fortunate that she took a wrong turn in Ouachita and bought me a little time. My sprint's not horrible tho, but it might be suffering at the end of a century. lol. Oughta be a great time. Hope u do make it up. Be fun to meet u.
Hope to see you there too!
good for you! I wish I could do that. NEXT YEAR, I will join you:)
Greeeeaaaat! I'm so happy that Brian (old man) is talking smack on my behalf with a phenominal roadie that actually practices sprints :-)Sydney-I'm glad that you are coming up to Lumberjack. It's a great race.
I think my off road max ever was like 40 miles. 100 seems out of reach for me. Best of luck Syd.
Danielle, yeah that oldman is crafty feller. I'm feelin' more motivated already. ;)Looking forward to hanging with u and ur crew a bit more than Ouachita. Where do you recommend camping or staying?
We are working on that now. I'll get back to you and let you know!
Syd/Danielle: Sorry about that sprint thingy. I will retract my "smack talk" and refrain from any commentary like that in the future. Forgive me.
oh no, oldman, bring on the smack, but one of these days, we're gonna line up with u. :DI think I can speak for Danielle on this one and say wasn't anyone upset. It's all in good fun and I really like Danielle, esp. the part where I think she might be out to whup up on me. That makes for more exciting and consequently, fun, racing, which is why we put in the time we do!
