work and play
Final turn. Crash bounce flip slide. Swollen left hip. Scraped right butt cheek. Both elbows left shoulder blade and calf. owie.
How's the bike?
sorry to hear of your crash glad you are well enough to post though, that is a good sign.
Always remember to keep the rubber-side down.
anything that doesn't kill you gives you good XP.
Haha, weird, I just came across your blog...what a coincidence. Hope the road rash is healing up! Amanda M.http://mtb05grl.blogspot.com
Hope the bike's able to go today. Sorry for the wreck and the sick trip! All ugly elements that haunt the athlete. But that's what juices the soul eh?Now, just consider them "smart marks". Now get on to the next one...suck it up and cowboy up!!! *G* At least your mount didn't tromp on you too. *S*Dad
mm, the bike is fine. The guy @ the wheel pit straightened the bent wheel and fixed the bar tape. The torn up seat, scraped up skewers and pedals, well, those add character. And dad, I am feeling pretty ready for the next one. Bein here with the toughest chicks in the midwest has been great. I've learned a lot and am inspired to train for next years season with this as a peak. :)
